Language reflects identity.
Speaking Cantonese – our mother tongue represents our own identity and Hong Kong. But sadly, it seems that the unique inheritance of language is fading away in all parts of the world; and the relationship between a place and its language is lost and detached from our modern society.
This exhibition will lead you to rethink about the possibilities of language and identities between different generations.

Landscape reflects a city’s connotation.
We are encouraged and taught to respect and protect our cultural heritage, but when the city’s development was hindered by historical building, the only choice of the developer is to TEAR DOWN.
We are lucky to have a group of urban sketchers, tirelessly using their sketch pens to record and retain the precious and disappearing landscape. And there might be one day that we can only appreciate the beauty of historic buildings through their sketching.
